New homes in The Village from the $300s.
Custom homes in Riverside from the $600s to $1M+.
Spring is still nearly a month away, but things are already heating up at Carolina Park. The mild winter weather has allowed work to continue at a tremendous pace on projects throughout the community. From new neighborhoods to new schools to new amenities, there's a lot happening and a lot to look forward to as 2017 unfolds. We invite you to take a moment and see for yourself why Carolina Park has become the Lowcountry's premier master planned community and most sought-after address .
From its inception, Carolina Park has been committed to providing residents and their families with access to outstanding educational opportunities. That commitment has resulted in the creation of an impressive "knowledge hub" within the community itself. By this time next year, Carolina Park will be home to five of the region’s top-rated schools: award-winning Wando High School, the Center for Advanced Studies at Wando, and The Children’s Center will be joined by Oceanside Collegiate Academy and Carolina Park Elementary School, both of which are currently under construction. (News that Michael Antonelli, formerly principal at the highly-regarded Laurel Hill Primary School, will assume that same role at Carolina Park Elementary only boosted already high expectations at the new school!) In addition, work will begin later this year on Mt. Pleasant's newest public library, located adjacent to Wando High. This unprecedented collection of educational resources is just one more reason that Carolina Park has become one of the region's fastest-growing communities.
We're building a lake! With everything else that's been making news in Carolina Park recently, it's easy to forget that one of the biggest projects of all is well underway back in Riverside. The construction of Bolden Lake - the 20-acre centerpiece of what will become Bolden Park - has been under way for some time, but good weather these past few months has allowed the heavy equipment to work faster and more efficiently. As of this week, the shaping and contouring phase of construction is nearly complete, meaning the overall size and dimensions of the lake have been largely defined. So while there's still a lot of work ahead, we can now make out what will become the shores of this remarkable amenity and have even formed the island that will be accessible by kayak, canoe and paddle board! Stay tuned for periodic updates as work on Bolden Lake continues.
